As a way of documenting and celebrating the countdown until Taylor returns I have been sharing some photos, layouts, and memories of Tay. As I have been looking at stuff I created I thought it would be fun to share some favorite boy pages. (not just about Tay)

I am loving using circles in all my current porjects, can't seem to stop as a matter of fact. I like them whole, cut in half, layered, glittered, colored, even sticking out. Loving circles-some of my obsession came from this awesome scrapbooker, Vivian Masket and her top ten post here. Love these layouts!

Each product release from our favorite scrapbook companies provide inspiration for so many projects. The colors that were introduced this year in new product lines drew me in and seemed so new and fresh. I selected mainly floral patterned papers to pull colors from.
A handful of my favorites are below.
Daily Junque by Pink Paislee
Floral Soiree by Pink Paislee
Five and dime by October Afternoon
For the Record by Echo Park
Portrait by Crate Paper
Ava by Melody Ross for GCD Studios
Lastly I used the banner for Fort Lauderdale by Basic Grey
What do you think? Are these new color combinations to you? Are you excited to try them out?

I can not state how strongly I care about, love, the scrapbooking industry. It is such a part of my life and who I am. Sometimes I wonder if I care too much-- but I do not think that is possible. What is it I care about? what makes it so important to me? As many of you know I lost a job I loved 2 years ago and for that entire first year I explored other industries, hobbies, fields, publishing, places to put my heart and time into. Nothing compared to what I have come to love as The Scrapbooking Industry.
It is where I have chosen to dedicate my time and talents. I have been a scrapbooker since High School and will continue to be in some form or other my entire life. I will seek out and look for other rewarding past times but I will continue to be focused on this industry, scrapbooking, memory keeping, story telling, whatever you call it.
It may not make sense to anyone but me. But I am putting it out there for all to read- I am here to stay and so thrilled with my current opportunities at Ella Publishing and Big Picture Classes as I prepare to head off to the Scrapbooking trade show I am eager to embrace friends, see new product, make partnerships, and look for opportunities to work with others.
For now I am enjoying looking at layouts I have created over the last 10 years.
Assorted 8 1/2" x 11" pages
Assorted 12" x 12" pages
and that is why I LOVE Scrapbooking

Wow- hard to believe this gets to happen to me again. I am so excited and passionate about scrapbooking and I have always focused on encouraging and educating the new scrapbooker.
I had the opportunity to author The Complete Idiot's Guide to Scrapbooking the first and second edition in 1999 and 2002.
And of course the fabulous book I co-authored with the esteemed Aby Garvey, The Organized and Inspired Scrapbooker in 2007. Luckily, a publisher picked up the rights and is reprinting the Organized and Inspired Scrapbooker as a paperback which will be out November of this year. Yeah!!!
and my newest book available September 15 2010 is called Start Scrapbooking.
This is what the promotional copy says.
