I am aware of what a privilege it is to be able to author a book
I even asked for that opportunity, that privilege, to author a book
I have a job that I love, work with a talented team, work in an industry that I am passionate about-so it makes sense that I would want to leave my mark, with a book
I was even smart enough to co-author the book with a super smart professional organizer, and friend
it was just so much work
all of my brain space was taken up
I was constantly running to do lists in my head
Talking to myself about projects, quizzes, and visuals
not answering the phone, not even listening to messages, let only responding
so many deadlines
so much stress
not reading or replying to email
wearing the same 'outfit' three days in a row
fulfilling obligations in person (all the while thinking about the book)
presuming my husband will (on top of working 50 hours a week) fix dinner, do homework with Caden, sign the kids up for sports, stay on top of the junior high kids grades, grocery shop, meal plan, supervise 'late night,' pay all the bills, and give me sympathy because I am so stressed and exhausted with all of my book stuff...
good thing it was only temporary
good thing I have a team that worked with me and aby
I am back-so much to get caught up on, people that need responses from me, comments to reply too, life to live
So if I have owed you something these past few months, be patient with me, I will get back to you
I am looking forward to normalcy, and so is my husband
Got to go, my husband is pulling up in the driveway with his new toy attached to his truck, our family's new toy
(will post pics later-see if you can guess what it is)
(guess he figures he needs to get me away from the Internet!)
Can't wait to see the book. I'm sure with you and Aby it is going to be fabulous with a capital FAB! So excited for you.
I'm going to guess that the toy is some sort of water item...boat? jetski?

a boat?
so funny (and yet, as we know funny yet expected) that you just posted this!) I was seriously JUST thinking about how nice it is to have my brain back. A brain is a wonderful thing!
Can't wait to see a pic of your new toy!

Maybe it's a camper. =) Better yet, one that could use some adorable floral/polka-dotty curtains as a finishing touch inside. Welcome back to 'the real world'. Can't wait to see your book!

Yippee! I am so happy you are/will be back Wendy!
Cannot wait for the book! When is it coming out again?
I know my husband would love love love an ATV so I'll guess that but I'm thinking boat or camper might be it? Can't wait to see :)

I'm going to guess that you either have a new boat or a new camper and that you are going off to spend some much needed family time together!

Congratulations, Wendy! I have to say, I'm a little envious ; ) But I've heard there is light at the end of the tunnel. Can't see it yet, but soon...
