**From Wikipedia, A cabochon or cabachon, from the Middle French caboche (head), is a gemstone which has been shaped and polished as opposed to faceted. The resulting form is usually a convex top with a flat bottom. Cutting en cabochon is usually applied to opaque gems, while facetting is usually applied to transparent stones.

Layouts that go straight down the middle

While wandering the booths at CHA, I was drawn to 8.5 x 11 layouts with page elements centered, see below

I think all three of these were from the October Afternoon booth

(trust me it is hard to find minimal and simple layouts in manufacturers booths)

P1000084-1

layout by Vivian Masket

P1000079-1

layout by Vivian Masket

P1000083-1

layout by??

Now do you seen what I mean, down the middle

anyway, I tried this look on a few layouts this week, and I quite like them

Scan0007

Journaling reads

around the photo

With four teenagers I am constantly reminded of things not do to because it will embarrass them, who knew?

List of rules

Never wave in public

Avoid eye contact

Walk behind your child

Wear mom clothes

Refrain from hugging in public

Never talk about puberty

what rules did you give your parents as a teen? what rules do your teens give you?

Cozy

I have the opportunity to spend the month guest blogging with the four talented gals over at the My Mind's Eye blog and these two layouts come from their blog, check it out.

(I posted some old layouts too. )

This layout is about my niece Chloe, and the journaling reads

This year Chloe wanted clothes for Christmas instead of toys

In this photo she is sporting the awesome gift I gave her, well my son Taylor helped pick it out.

Thanks for looking and stopping by.
