Hello all. Wanted to jump in and make sure that you know that the organization book I co-wrote with Aby Garvey is being released next week from Leisure Arts and this is exciting.
Remember it is a reprint of the original book in a different format. The cover looks different from the original, but the inside content is the same.
Got it- new cover, old insides
Content is still fabulous and for all of you that were unable to purchase a copy the first time around now is your chance.
and as always, thanks for your support
Wow- hard to believe this gets to happen to me again. I am so excited and passionate about scrapbooking and I have always focused on encouraging and educating the new scrapbooker.
I had the opportunity to author The Complete Idiot's Guide to Scrapbooking the first and second edition in 1999 and 2002.
And of course the fabulous book I co-authored with the esteemed Aby Garvey, The Organized and Inspired Scrapbooker in 2007. Luckily, a publisher picked up the rights and is reprinting the Organized and Inspired Scrapbooker as a paperback which will be out November of this year. Yeah!!!
and my newest book available September 15 2010 is called Start Scrapbooking.
This is what the promotional copy says.

I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to be a teacher at Big Picture Scrapbooking
Big Picture is offering quarterly classes from 4 different experts and I am the first!
My class description is below- you can sign up here.
Get Organized and Be Inspired
Our year kicks off with the brilliance of Wendy Smedley. Wendy is the creative editor at Simple Scrapbooks magazine and co-author of the just-released Organized and Inspired Scrapbooker. Wendy will teach from her book and interact with you to determine why and how you scrapbook and how you can set up your space to reflect your personal approach. In addition to the step-by-step guidance you will get from Wendy, the value of this unique workshop rests in the global community that will share and work together. Just think: three months of long winter nights to really explore what you do and how you can do it in a more inspired way!
Off to get more of this class work done!
and to head off Christmas shopping with my five kids!
Thank you for your help-
I have decided to do the floral and dots- what I am not sure about is whether or not to stick with the scallops-
Can't wait to get it done-
I have narrowed it down to these four
My mom is making them and I want scalloped valances
with maybe two fabrics-
anyway vote for what you would do

Thanks for your help!
