My husband and I enjoyed some time away from the daily stresses of life this week. We went to stay in a cabin at Bear Lake. Signs of fall were all around us (proof below) and this is one summer I am ready to say goodbye to. As I have been reflecting on this time of year and what it reminds us of I am trying really hard to remain positive and exercise gratitude.
I am wondering what everyone else does-
How do you prepare for a change of seasons?
What do you do to exercise gratitude?
Do you decorate your home with new decor?
Is it a hard transition for you?
What activities do you look forward to in the fall?
my answers to the ?'s below
How do you prepare for a change of seasons?
I try to psyche myself out, I do not like cold weather and for me fall means winter is around the corner
What do you do to exercise gratitude?
I try to spend time reflecting on our blessings daily and performing small kind deeds.
Do you decorate your home with new decor?
I wish- no, maybe when I don't have 5 rambunctious boys
Is it a hard transition for you?
YES! kids gone, darker earlier at night, less sunshine, less freedom-but more time for reading
What activities do you look forward to in the fall?
I guess that might be the problem, I need stuff to look forward to
Thanks for reading- off to the Sandy Scrapbook expo
