Thanks for the support, emails, questions, and comments about my experience as a mom with sons serving LDS missions. It is hard to say goodbye.
I want to share this video that was filmed by a local news station that shows the inside of the Provo Missionary Training Center, and a little bit about what they do.
As for Justin, he has written and seems to be adjusting well. It is both super exciting and sad at the same time to be a mom of a missionary, let alone two. When Taylor left,July of 2010, I did not share much about it here on my blog. As this experience has dominated my life I have decided to write and share more about it. Feel free to join me or to avoid me, either way, I am choosing to share my persepctive about this aspect of mothering, kids leaving home.
and since I am a scrapbooker, here is a favorite photo that Taylor took while he was in the MTC two years ago. And the countdown until he comes home begins (I just picked that number) when he has 70 days left, and that is this Thursday, May 24!!
