Walter Wick-- not a name you may recognize, I didn't, but you will recognize his work and want to take your family to see it at Brigham Young Museum of Art.

a few favorite 2008 photos of my youngest son Caden, I am going to scrap them all on the same page.
You know the photos of kids were they are acting so old.
Need to come up with a good catchy title

I am on a nesting kick and as always an Internet kick. This post combines the two, shocking I know.
I am highlighting creative uses of paper stuff and frames
I will kick it off with two of my one simple creations, the first one is in a thrift store 4" x 6" frame and the second one is in a floating 4" x 6" frame. Can you guess the product I used?
the first frame uses a transparency from BoBunny, vinyl thickers from American Crafts, and the patterned paper and jelly flower are from October Afternoon
second frame uses a layered sticker from me and my BIG ideas, and patterned paper from Treehouse Memories
now onto some Internet candy and to kick it off I have to highlight this adorable shadow box style frame from Jenny Harrisof allsorts
My jaw dropped when I stumbled across this delightful cornucopia of scrapbooking heaven and she gave it away
I know take a deep breath, wheww- she has more images posted on her blog, visit and leave her a comment.
Now a few more to keep your mind going

I posted this twitter update "oldest son got a valentine gift from girl that i am less than thrilled about, more to come 9:54 AM Feb 13th"
and I am prepared to share what the gift was
now, I have to clarify that my husband and I were not asked if this gift was ok, so you can imagine the horrible position we are now in.
we have given Taylor a three week trial to see if he can care for the dog (including making arrangements for the dogs care during school)
I am sure you can see how difficult this situation is for our family
more to come

well, yeah I had my last day at Simple and it was a difficult day, but I am ready to move on and embrace different challenges.
Thanks for all of the support and words of encouragement you have given me here, on FB, in person, and elsewhere. I will certainly be blogging more and posting projects as well as industry info.
In the meantime I am nesting, and finding it peaceful and rewarding.
